The Kansa Vatki Foot Massage™ is a beautiful and relaxing health care modality which balances the body, mind and spirit. This unique treatment is steeped in centuries of Ayurvedic ceremony and involves the use of ghee (clarified butter). The massage is deeply revitalizing for tired feet and legs and, as the feet contain key energy and nerve endings relating to internal organs, a Kansa Vatki treatment also helps to rebalance the tri-dosha (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha).
The heart of the treatment involves vigorously rubbing the soles of the feet with a 3-metal bowl to draw heat and toxins out of the body thereby inducing tremendous relaxation. The Kansa Vatki Foot Massage™ makes a wonderful addition to reflexology and other bodywork.
