We will learn poses designed to help release muscle tension, create space, and improve range of motion. This, in turn, will increase the safety for the lower back, knees and feet. Modifications will be offered for beginners and enthusiasts. This workshop is particularly beneficial for individuals who suffer from anxiety, depression and insomnia. Come and share the experience of physical and mental release through hip openers! Instructor: Kelley Carter, RYT Kelley Carter, RYT Kelley has been studying Middle Eastern dance for four years under the guidance of Magda. She has participated in workshops offered by Leila Gamal, Sadiyah, Morocco, Ava Fleming, Aziza, Zoe Jakes, Aliyah Sahar, Sonya, Andreanna, and Trillium Tribe. With her dedication to the art, she shares the magic of Middle Eastern dance with her students. Kelley is also a member of MECDA (Middle Eastern Culture and Dance Association).
